Azul Restaurant
The signature Azul Restaurant sits at the edge of a cliff overlooking Maho Bay, boasting impressive architecture allowing for sweeping views of the crystalline blue waters.
Featuring sleek, contemporary design with whitewashed walls and cerulean blue accents, the captivating ambience reflects the Mediterranean themed menu that presents a creative interpretation of authentic specialties.
Exclusive to Sonesta Ocean Point Resort guests, Azul Restaurant tantalizes every palate and offers a delighting dining experience with seasonal ingredients, fresh vegetables and grilled selections — enhanced and complemented by the restaurant’s international wine list. A further selection of fine wines is available at an additional charge.
Azul Restaurant is open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, offering guests an all-day fine dining experience. In-room dining is available with 24-hour room service.

Reminiscent of the charming coastal gem in Italy that is Portofino, this intimate al fresco dining venue overlooking the glistening Maho Bay, offers a modem interpretation of classic Northern Italian specialties set in a nostalgic and romantic Caribbean setting.
Exclusively for Sonesta Ocean Point Resort guests, Portofino is open for dinner only with an à la carte, five course menu.

Group Dining Policies
- Reservations are not necessary in any of our restaurants for individuals or parties up to 6 persons. We understand that guests here for special occasions want to be able to dine together.
- To provide the best service and ensure an enjoyable atmosphere for all our guests, we will accept a limited number of reservations only for tables of 8 persons.
- By limiting group sizes, we allow all guests to enjoy our restaurant without excessive waiting times or overcrowding.
- You may make your reservations with the guest services desk in the lobby or via guestservices@mahobeach.com
Groups of maximum 8 people
- At Azul, a maximum of TWO (2) parties with a maximum of EIGHT (8) people can be booked each night.
- At all other a-la-carte restaurants, including those at Sonesta Maho Beach Resort, only one such party with a maximum of EIGHT (8) can be booked each night.
- All groups must be at the restaurant at least 2 hours before closing time.
- Bookings are made on a first-come-first-served basis.
Groups of 9 to 20 people
- Groups of 9 to 20 require a private set up with dedicated servers and a set menu with a required fee of $20 per person.
- Reservations must be made at least 48 hours in advance and menu choices must be submitted 24 hours in advance.
- Only one such party can be booked each night, per outlet, and they must be at the restaurant prior to 6:15pm.
- Bookings are made on a first-come-first-served basis.
Groups of 21-29 people
- Groups of 21 to 30 can only dine together at the Ocean Terrace Buffet Restaurant, on three separate tables.
- Reservations are required 48 hours in advance.
- Only one such party can be booked each night, and they must be at the restaurant prior to 6:15pm.
- Bookings are made on a first-come-first-served basis.
Groups of 30+ people
- Groups of more than 30 require a private function in a private area

Seascape Swim-Up Pool Bar

Azul Bar and Pool Service
Located at Azul Restaurant, Azul Bar also offers pool service at The Edge Pool so that guests can enjoy sipping on a signature cocktail poolside during the day, and an aperitif before dinner.
